'PM2.5 and PM10 in Scotland' considered PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations and ratio of PM2.5 to PM10 across Scotland. It aimed to help inform these potential changes to Air Quality Strategy Objectives and Local Air Quality Management by reviewing data from the Scottish Air Quality Database, Pollution Concentration Mapping and mobile monitoring. Results from the study suggests there were some downward trends in PM, and that using the PM2.5/PM10 ratio, PM2.5 could be calculated from PM10 measurements to help inform current concentrations.
