Keeping the action plan up to date
Authorities have an obligation to keep their air quality action plans up to date. Section 84(4) of the Environment Act 1995 states that an authority may from time to time revise an action plan. Whenever an action plan is revised, local authorities must consult the Scottish Ministers and other statutory consultees.
