Internal Consultation on Draft Air Quality Action Plan
Following the development of the draft action plan using feedback from the steering group, it is usually necessary for the draft plan to be subject to internal ‘Council’ consultation. This process often includes dissemination to Council Heads of Service for comment and amendment prior to presentation to relevant Council Committees for approval. As Council Committees tend to run in defined cycles, the development of the air quality action plan should try to take this into account when planning for the public consultation event.
